So I go to the dentist this morning. After 4 shots of novacaine and 1 hour I was finally numb enough for the drill. After the 2 and a half hour ordeal my mouth, cheek, head, ear and eyes were numb....so needless to say my mouth is a little too sore for VO. One of those days:-)

Sha, don't even get me started about dentists, and teeth. And who knew one can get decay under crowns? And what do you mean you can't reuse the same crown? And so I say "It's a back tooth just pull it'" and so my dentist says "But your using that tooth," And so then I say "But if it an't there I won't need to use it." Score one for Chrissy. My dentist stands there looking sad, and speechless. However I know my dentist, we'll ahve thsi same go round again sometime soon. I told you not to get me started. Is anyone still reading this?

cheers,

Chrissy

Chrissy, I have all four wisdom teeth. My dentist is sick, sick, sick of looking at them. Maybe we can cut some kind of deal...

I warned you not to get me started BUT as I was just getting yet another cuppa French roast it dawned on me that the "wooden teeth" idea (yea I know George W didn't actually have wooden ones) anyways with wooden teeth we could paint them different colors depending on our moods or the seasons; could put decals on them; could take them out and polish them ourselves. There are limitless creative, fun possiblities and I'm sure a few of you will share your ideas with me.

cheers again,

Chrissy

Huh! So wisdom teeth normally come in when you are in your late teens or so. Since you got yours out back in the 1920's, that makes you somewhere around 97 years old. You go girl! I hope I can still do VO at that age.

Heck, I hope I can do it now.

I had to wisdom teeth pulled at the UT School of Dentistry in San Antonio when I was in my 20's. The other two were impacted, so I opted for sleeping through that surgery.

Should have kept the wisdom teeth because I've been pretty stupid since and now have three broken teeth and my new insurance doesn't cover major stuff yet.

Actually GW did, but they were his "show" teeth. Not for chewing. Sort of like those BIG wings on the back of front wheel drive cars.

Wow, right back to my "threadjacking" ways. Sorry.

Thanks Bob, I stand corrected re: George W's wooden teeth. so much for trusting the History Channel. I guess I can only trust on Comedy Central

cheers
