In Teller County, Colorado where I live...particularly Divide (my city), I woke up to about 4 inches of snow and it has been non stop ever since...we've got at least a foot and it's still coming! Lost phone....dead.....still have power, but it's shaky...taken a couple power hits already. _________________ TG2

Don't know what you're talkin' about, Tom. It was 73 and sunny here today:)
Sorry...couldn't help but rub it in because we don't get to brag about our weather much in Indy.
Actually, I wrote Rachael (from Denver) earlier today out of concern and inquired if she was about to get blitzed with snow. Hope you stay dry and toasty!!

Thanks Mandy.....I'm almost twice as high as Denver, so she probably didn't get hit as hard....in fact, for the most part, just down the mountain in Colorado springs, they got mostly just rain. It's still snowing here...I'm estimating we're at about 2 feet so far and it's supposed to continue through the night. I'm amazed I still have power and internet! Thanks for the well wishes. _________________ TG2

I feel your pain (not as much) Tom..
If this is Colorado's way of endearing itself to me, it's making me want to get the moving truck SOONER.
BTW, I got at least 5 or 6 power hits mid day.. THANK goodness for UPS, good investment! |

I hear ya Chris....we didn't lose power, but we've taken some hits spradically throughout the day. Oh and by the way Chris...I really enjoyed your presentation at VOICE. Mike Rhys (from Japan) is redoing my web page for me.
Colorado is my theme...my avatar is my new logo....kind of a takeoff of my new web design. It's not up yet...he's still working on it, but it's a very intriguing design. Very cool. _________________ TG2

My daughter and her family live in Denver with this weather experience -not even in the mountains- and this winter/spring has been the most bizzarre in recent memory. And we call it global warming.... _________________ Bobbin Beam

Tom, Thanks, I really enjoyed doing the presentation at VOICE, but for the life of me, can't remember much. I guess I went into performance black out mode..

Well.. you know it was in the 50's today in Denver, and a goodly amount of the slushy stuff has melted. We have a few water canals left over from the old days... irrigation stuff, and the highline canal (if anyone knows it. it's about 50 miles of canal that winds it's way through the denver metro area, really nice walking/horse/biking path all the way along it) anyway, the highline canal was at it's brim and overflowing in some areas.. |
