Well said Deirdre. Ultimately talented people will get work as evidenced by the many talented individuals on the board. I just think that if you make every aspect of your business shine, you will improve your odds of success. |

Well, like Todd said... A little too much mental/graphic gymnatisics for my taste. Reminds me of the blotter/illusion "do you see an old witch or a beautiful woman?" But... I not voting to include the mic either. Gosh, now I've even confused myself. _________________ . If at first you don't succeed, then bomb disposal probably isn't for you. |

Probably one of the best and coolst voiceover websites around is nothing but a mic.....Maiku's website. That is so cool....and memorable. He's got the talent to match that design too. Great combo. But I back on topic....I like number 1 best and number 2 next. _________________ TG2

Go with your gut, girl.
I never even thought it (the initial design) was sexy. Man I must be really dense!!!! But on a second look..... well.... OK it's subliminal!
Everyone will offer an opinion and get your head spinning. The only way you're gonna really find out what works or doesn't is to test it on the world. _________________ Bobbin Beam

This was precisely the reason I went for the hand holding the mic and the broadcast tower in my logo. People love it.

At the risk of getting my fingers whacked with a ruler by Sr. Deirdre, I like the original very much. However, I go along with mirroring one of the 2 images (either mouth or mic) and make it appear more like your character is actually using it.
Open either of the graphics in an image editor, then flip-flop it 180 degrees. If may require a bit of rotation, too.
Okay - I'll now genuflect as I bow out of this particular discourse. |

No mic... no sex appeal... no face... no lips...

Bailey! That's exactly also something else I told my design guy to work with!

nice CD cover. LOL
if you go with the waveform it might be kinda cool (at least in my sick mind) not that anyone would probably realize it, to use the waveform of your voice saying your name? Might just be a sexy waveform. |

I love the stylized mouth graphic. I know it breaks Deidre's rules, but I think if you used a hanging mic and turned the mouth to an oblique angle.
I also agree that sex appeal is just fine to use. |

OK... Here's a logo that says it all. I am a woman... and I do voice overs.
It doesn't get much simpler than that.
