Everyone have a great Memorial Day weekend!

I'll be lifting a frosty one in cheers at about 3p EST as I fire up the BBQ, if anyone would care to join me. (figuratively)

Have a safe and happy! Bitchin

Five miles from Lowes Speedway and the Coca-Cola 600. Guess what I'm doing!

That's right, I can't leave the house! Not with 200,000 people driving near my house at one time.

Bob, I'll be watching the Coca-Cola 600. When the blimp goes over your house, step outside and wave so we can see you!

And I live about 10 minutes from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. If anybody's in town for the 500, I'll let you park at my house!
Amanda

P.S. Belated "CHEERS", Jim! I'll join you Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 3pm, though, if it makes you feel any better!

I think I might live near the coolest thing, just in the crappiest place! My room is about 25 feet from Saddam's Palace. I was here in 2003 when we took down his 45-foot heads.

I will be on lock-down inside studio 2B counting down the greatest ROCK SONGS EVER!

Happy Memorial Day...Feel free to give the studio a call! Not sure if I posted the number or not. I will post it when I get in.

That's my City's slogan! We just recently changed it from "Nothing to see here...just keep it movin'!"

Today I'll go to my Godson's high school graduation and then to a church "Foyer Group" tonight. (Episcopalian so at least there'll be wine!) Inoccent I always ask the same thing. Why do we have to meet in this small foyer and not in the rest of the house?

Happy Memorial Day everybody. And Kasbah..up in Boston our city slogan is "Still slightly safer than Bagdad".

I'll be firing up the grill and cooking a brisket for about 8 hours - while I make my homemade barbecue sauce and potato salad to go along with it. Should be tasty.

Well, we're battling the traffic to go to Palm Beach today, and then up to Palatka on Sunday (Northern FL) for the Palatka Blue Crab Festival where one of my best friends is singing in one of the local competitions in the Colgate Country Showdown. I'm so excited for her... I pray she goes to State, then Regionals, then NATIONALS!!!

Have a good, safe weekend, my friends!!

PS: DB... Maine is on our list of "places to go... soon!". Matter of fact, my hubby's going to Newport in a couple of weeks for a Naval War College thing, and I was going to go with him and we were going to go to Maine. But, we just couldn't swing it. Let's just say, having two dogs is like having two kids!

Heh, in Philly it's, "Still slightly deadlier than Baghdad"

In some circles we made the running for "world's deadliest city" WOOT

Anyway, I'll celebrate some birthdays (Mom's & brother's), maybe hit the shore or go to Lancaster this weekend. On Monday, I'll be simply enjoying the BBQ and raising my glass of Captain & Coke, and whatever it takes to honor the sacrifices of the people who've allowed me to to do so.
