I can't believe it's been almost two years since I've updated my demos. While I wrap my brain around that thought and the prospect of actually doing something about it, I began wondering about the packaging. I was quite pleased with the way that all came together back in September of '05, and it received some positive comments from people who received it.

So my question is, when you send out a new demo CD to clients and prospects, do you use that occasion to also re-do all the packaging? Or do you keep the basic packaging the same and just add some indication of "New and updated!"?

Thanks for any input.

Don

You want your new stuff to stand out from your old stuff!
So, a redesign of some kind is called for.

If your package design matches your website and THAT hasn't changed, I'd recommend a color shift while keeping the typeface and design elements the same.

That may be all you need anyway unless you want to blow the lid off.
