I was feeling rather miserable this morning. A small spate of rain brings the problem to light rather dramatically.

The yellow is pollen, in case you were wondering.

Let's hear it for neti pots. A friend of mine uses an eye dropper, and warm water with salt. He shoots it up (his nose that is) on a daily basis. He claims he hasn't had any sinus infections in years.

That's some serious pollen. It looks like that in March here. Come June, I can stop taking my allergy meds; it's all over by then. I'm good till the ragweed starts up in September.

I feel for ya, Deebs, allergies are more than just an annoyance in our line o' work. Hope you feel better soon.

Down here, it's molds all summer long. In cooler months, it's what people here call "cedar", although it's actually spores from juniper trees.

At any rate, allergists in this town drive better cars than the surgeons.
