Glenn Moore mentioned a "demo section" where his demo is posted, where is it? |

It's the forum on the bottom row (Chat, Gear, Work, Critiques) called Critiques.
But I wouldn't go there if I were you -- it isn't safe  |

Here's the link... http://www.vo-bb.com/demos.
There have been some great things and helpful critiques there recently. I'm surprised and pleased to see people, in this industry, help one another. And believe me, VO people seem to be much better than broadcasters. The BCast forums are extremely negative. This one is much more positive.

The reason for that is simple enough. Voice Over artists are more heavily medicated than mere broadcasters  _________________ - Peter

Nah. Maybe just not as neurotic.
VO people don't have to do "remote appearances".

Just to mirror Justin's comment. I've been in the radio "biz" for almost a year now as a part-timer. On the air weekends and fill in during the week rarely. Have noticed that it is extremely competitive, and have a hard time getting feedback from others at the station. Not that it is so much a negative atmosphere as it is not cooperative. Tough for me even to get feedback from my sometimes. I appreciate and utilize this board everyday because of the cooperative, knowledgable, and honest atmosphere. |

I've worked with great groups at radio stations over the years, it's always been on a part-time basis. What I have learned is broadcast management and its trainees, if you will, are reactive. In most cases you will only hear the negative or on the rare ocassion the not so negative positive. Reminds me of my first car.
Proactive environments and communities like this other forums with similar qualities, excel because its members are all equals who take an honest, diligent approach to these discussions and truly listen (or appear to listen ) to the responses. It's all about learning and self improvement.
