right, right...but HYPOTHETICALLY.....
Staples has a 50' one, I think that should do it...but does it come in maybe 75'...just 'cause I need to go down through the basement & up in to the room onto the desk...of course I could save a few feet & keep the Laptop on the floor!

Liz,
That looks like a winner. Some months ago, when my daughter's wireless connection went flaky in her apartment, I searched in vain
(in local stores) for a 75 foot Cat5e cable. I wish now I'd thought to check eBay. At the time we bought a 50 foot cable, a junction
connector and another 15 foot, which got her up and running with a wired connection.
And Liz, I should be available pretty much any day next week. I'm actually off the road for a few more weeks.
(Huzzah. It's so nice to be home.)

It turned out to be a roaring success. At least the connecting via Source Connect part. Liz and I chatted this evening in full studio quality audio. I could hear her, she could hear me. Everything is working just dandy.
