Yesterday I couldn't say "prints and enlargements" to save my life. Take 1 was ok. Takes 2 through 658 were a garbled mess, or over-enunciated. (Because I know someone will ask:Take 659 rocked!)

"Surgical" has been slurring lately.
A few years ago we were doing a spot for a cable company's self-install kit. There were three of us in the studio and the other male couldn't say, "Getting it and installing it yourself!". We must have done a dozen full takes and a jillion pickups and he still couldn't say it. We took a break, came back and tried one more full read which he nailed. The female talent was so startled that she shouted, "He said it!" instead of her next line. |

There are days I can't say either of them on mike for love or money. (Oddly enough, if I walk away from the mike, I can say them without difficulty!)
