VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Finally getting the courage to post here. Yoda has been bugging me to join for quite a while and I've never got quite round to it. I've been voice acting as an amateur for around eight years now. I recently got to have a go in a pro studio ( as a sort of roundabout prize for providing a few voices for a competition winning machinima) and whilst I enjoyed it, it confirmed doing voice overs professionally isn't for me.
That said I still intend to keep recording and am going to do my best to soak up all the tips and advice I can.

Welcome aboard, Azure. There's more information about voice overs... voice acting... and all related subjects, located at this website than anywhere else on the web. The archives contain a goldmine of information. Plenty of friendly folks... well there are a few that, well, nevermind. Enjoy your stay, and if you need a shoulder to cry on... stay away from... nevermind.

Welcome Azure!!! Ditto on everything thats been said so far. There are an amazing number of talented, nice people on this site with a wealth of knowledge. I spent so much time on this site when I first joined that I wasn't getting other things done. You'll learn more here than you would if you paid big $$$ for courses. Enjoy.
