The best part of the site is the demos on the front page… well done. And of course the demos are very strong.

I like the use of cartoon character pictures on the clients page

Make sure you get your key words in your title bar.

The simplicity of the site is good, the courier font is a unique choice that I may come to like. The huge navigation buttons on various pages also make navigation easier.

What I like least is the squiggly window. This is especially bad on the “about” and “clients” sections where the scroll bar isn’t as apparent to the viewer at first glance and the window butts right up against the text…that is distracting to me.

I am hoping the text in the “about” window will be readable to search engines. And there is too much text there with not enough white space…I would edit that down.

I also am hoping you’re going to grab a new template for the blog or in some way make it visually more like your site (yellows, whites etc)

I hope this helps.

Shouldn't "news" be "The Buzz"?

Wow Amy! Love that idea! I have to close the book on this one for a few weeks (I'm paying by the hour!). I will certainly remember that and will change it with my next update! I can't believe I didn't think about that- (too worried that my demos could be downloaded and would contain my name and phone #- an idea from JS Gilbert)

Peter, thank you for the feedback! I did make sure the text was searchable regardless of the fact it was a flash image. I was assured it indeed was. My next change in a few weeks is to have the site fully optimized with keywords. I have to recover from this initial financial hit (and get a couple of clients to cough up the $$!) and will be making a few more changes. I'm wondering if the frame could be made slightly smaller (meaning thinner)...I'll look into that.

Thanks again to everyone for your feedback!! It really has helped!

I got trapped on your clients page. It was a dead link with no way to arrow back. The blog page is the same, but I could get out of it because it comes up as a smaller page that can be closed. On the about page, the words extend below the pretty frame and there is the same problem, not being able to arrow back. I like the site, it's different and that's cool, but the navigation issues may cost you, so I hope the web dude fixes it.

Best Wishes!

Kelly, thank you! That is what I need to hear. He is looking at it as we speak trying to figure out why that is happening. (just out of curiousity...did you see the 'home' button above the frame on the client and about page, or was it not there?)

OK, we just made a 'fix' to the site that will hopefully prevent the text from coming out of the bottom of the frame. I'm sure you're over this site by now...but if anyone happens to click on it and notices this problem- will you let me know?

Hey Kara!
The client & about pages are working great for me now!
One suggestion on your blog: put a link to your website on the left sidecar...or did I just not see it....Also, your picture on your blog isn't coming up...but I love that you made the color scheme match more with your site!

You GO girl!!!

The first time I click on clients, I don't get a scrollbar.

IE7 on Windows XP Pro.

Actually Kara, that just happened to me as well.
When you leave your site, then come back & click on "clients" the scroll bar isn't there.
But if you go "Home" and then back to Clients it's there, and stays there through the rest of the site visit.

Strange.
