In 2000, when I seriously decided to leave radio and pursue an MCSE, I quickly found that everyone else was doing it, too. The influx of "paper MCSEs" (those who knew the test, but had little experience) caused the average pay for someone with that cert to go down over the next few years.
And I'll be darned if I'm not seeing that trend here. Paper VO's... heh _________________ Greg Littlefield

Greg,
As a fellow MCSE, I feel your pain!
About the year 2000 I was at a crossroads. I had the opportunity to be a part of the local morning drive time team on the Alternative station or continue to be technical. (I already had been an engineer at IBM for 16 years) I chose the IT route, I could see the writing on the wall with more shows being voice tracked and fewer "live" shows. Now that same station has a syndicated morning show done in a city 1000 miles away. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.
