I'm having mixed feelings about this, but my Voice Acting class at San Diego City College is light this semester and is in jeopardy of being cancelled until the spring session (when we have decided to do it at night for the first time).

If about a dozen more folks don't appear in my classroom this Monday morning at 9:35 AM Pacific time, I'll be taking the fall term off for the first time since 1999.

Hence my mixed feelings. I love teaching the class, but working as a full time voice actor, teaching the class, volunteering for MCA-I, trying to find time to spend with a retired POSSLQ and enjoy the beautiful place I live, as well as to do some community theater - it wouldn't be a terrible thing to have the extra hours every week. (Although I know that my addiction to these darn VO message boards would consume that easily.)

Anyway, if you have Monday and Wednesday from 9:35 to 11:40 AM Pacific time available to take Acting for Radio/Voice Over - DRAMA and RTVC 106 at San Diego City College, then show up at Bldg C - Room 127 (near the radio station Jazz 88 ) tomorrow AM and get an Add Code.

Here is a link to my class website for more information on the 106 class.

Here is a link to the campus info - the online registration is closed on Sunday, so this would be a show up and be counted thing.

If not this semester - then keep it in mind for next!

something tells me that you won't be having the class (because maybe deep down inside you want the break)... AND that this will be your most productive, peaceful, and thrilling semester since 1999! Mark my words. You can only divide a pie into so many pieces... and the less pieces there are, the bigger they are.

Can't do it. We're leaving tomorrow for a 5-day visit to Santa Maria... back next weekend... just in case anyone starts asking, "Does anybody know where Bailey's been?".

If I lived in San Diego, I'd be there with bells on. Unfortunately, the commute from NJ would kill me.

The Chair of the Department came into my class today to officially cancel for the semester. I had about 4 crashers, but not enough to boost the enrollment to the minimum.

All is well. Lots of stuff to fill those hours! And I'll be able to get to my mother's 80th without any work arounds...

Sorry to heat that Connie... in a way. The good news is that you can rest up for the semester and offer private classes for those who wish to participate.

We support you, but I have a rather long commute to get there.

Toodles
