This lead just came in today from V123 - and it looks like the first paragraph is from an email the client received from V123. No counseling on the rate in here - maybe that part came next but was deleted1?

Thanks for your interest. How is everything going with your voice over project so far? Have you received suitable answers? Please let us know if there's anything we can do for you.
It will start playing automatically, and is the voice of the woman at the beginning of the Hyatt video that follows the slides.
The script will be about 2 pages, but hasn't been finalized. Will have it finalized in the next few days to give you specifics.
The length is about 2 - 3 minutes, although unsure. Usually for a 2 - 3 minute script, I pay between 100-140 USD. |

I love that they said we could use the words from the mp3 as our audition, but we'd have to transcribe them ourselves to do it. I didn't even listen to the audio sample before deleting. Two people had already responded.

Pathetic.
For being such a "standard of the industry", if that's V123's comment on the rates, then they're woefully behind.
Again, I'm glad that I've yet to purchase a membership (though I'll be joining Voices.com in a month or two). _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser
