This is being pitched for prospective users w/o Pro Tools. Anybody have any experience with this, particularly in the Mac (Intel-based) world? Stability? Or should I just break down and install Pro Tools. Been using Garage Band for quite a while.
thanks.

Search the archives for a lot of detail about this program. _________________ Be thankful for the bad things in life. They opened your eyes to the good things you weren't paying attention to before. email: thevoice@usa.com |

Source Elements Desktop (SED) works great on the Powerbook G4 and the Macbook series, in my personal experience. If you own a Source Connect license, all you need to do is download the VST version of SC to use it with SED. I have been setting up my newer users w/o Pro Tools, and even some of my veteran Pro Tools users, with SED for simplicity and reliability. Does what you need, and nothing you don't. The Source Elements website is confusing, as I think it makes mention that SED is only for C, not Intel. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.
