Deirdre,

I'm going to be in Columbus, OH later this week, so if I get a chance I'm going to try to see this place.

All those billboards are amazingly creative but the one with the two guys playing soccer . . . now that takes the cake!

Anthony,

OS9? What's up with that, if you don't mind my asking.

Todd,

Yes, thank you. I understand. My question was about why run such an old OS. I actually use both Windows and Mac systems. For that matter, I have a Linux box for a lot of my personal correspondence, etc. But, then, I'm strange that way. Always have been.

I had been putting it off because I have thousands of dollars worth of plugins (back before Digi swallowed up all the plugin peeps) and I didn't want to make the investment when I went OSX. But now that I don't do any more production and ALL of my sessions is only one dry track I don't use half of my plugins, BUT the Mac works fine the way it is for me.

I AM upgrading, but not until I set up a HOME set up as well. I'm bringing the OS9 home and putting OSX at the studio. I guess if it ain't broke I ain't fixin' it ya know? Oh - and I don't use Source Connect... yet - ALL ISDN or phone patch.

PEACE
-Anthony

I'm seriously considering reloading our old iMac with OS9 for the old games we have. Which reminds me, if anyone knows where I can get a copy of Wesleyan Tetris (the one that taunts you when you screw uHobo Happy, PLEASE let me know! It's vaporized!

Anthony,

Thank you for filling in the details. There's a lot of wisdom in that approach.
