i'm working with some crappy audio, mixing with mine, which is much, much better in tone and sound. heh. put side-by-side the dichotomy is completely discernible. i've futzed with various presets on adobe audition 1.0 but i could spend all day guessing.
any suggestions on how to make the crappy audio richer and fuller? it sounds like he recorded in an empty room, and turned up the sibilance in his mouth!! _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

okay everybody, you may return to your regular tasks.
this low-pay, am station-type ad is in the can. i did a little of this and that and basically am a good faker.
(ooops, this IS a public forum, isn't it??!! )
and explained my attempts at matching voices and enriching his (tinny, skinny, hollow, amateur) audio. if they reject it, i'll be back.
btw, i used a preset in the graphic equalizer called "rattle the trunk (be careful)"
go figure. _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!
