I use the VTB1 from Studio Projects. I also have a M-Audio Delta 44 sound card in my chain. I've been pretty happy w/ the preamp, especially for the price. _________________ www.michelleann.com |

I have a client who also uses the C-1 with a VTB-1 and an Avalon VT-737, as well as his 416. I think he uses his 416 primarily with his Avalon and the C-1 with the VTB1. Nice, budget combination. It then passes through a Mackie VLZ3 line input, then out of the Master outputs into his Mbox 2 and Zephyr Xstream. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.
