Tom,
I haven't added keywords. I've just blogged about my passion for voiceover. _________________ Be well,

"Watercress".
Don't laugh. It got me a gig reading the luncheon specials at the neighborhood tea room on Tuesdays.
Actually, go to websites of VO talents that come up first on Google, click on "Source" or "Page Source" from the "View" menu, and see what they've done. They're probably first in line more because of linking than because of Key Words, but it can't hurt to see what they chose.

Bruce is right. Keywords have very little to do with SEO these days. The top spots for "Male voice over" on Google do not have much in the way of keyword placement. You'd be better off doing a search for "link: <competitors URL>" to see which pages link to theirs and then try to do it better. _________________ Jeff

I don't understand the syntax of this search.
putting "link: <http://www.philipbanks.com>" in a google search box or in the address field of my browser yields nothing. (with and without quotes and/or open-and-close widgets) _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

It's a nicely laid-out list you get, but it isn't comprehensive.
Neither is the Google method either, but I did find out the parsing is like this:

You can also right click on the page (with Internet Explorer) and select "bacward links". The links will come up. _________________ John Weeks Voice Overs

I'm not seeing this. I suspect you have a plug-in or something that gets this info for you. It's not in the standard IE right click context menu. _________________ Jeff

It's
So, drop the "http://" and the brackets/buckets, then make sure there's a space between "link:" and the domain name and you get this

I've intentionally written my site to emphasize "Atlanta Voiceover/Voiceovers Talent". Google that, and I come up. It's helped to get a lot of out of the blue clients for industrials.
If you go for a niche, the SEO stuff totally works. My wife works for an SEO company (and I didn't use their services) . _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover
