Hi everyone,
Susan Levitas here. I'm a vo-bb member and a displaced New Orleanian. I've evacuated to Atlanta, but all my studio stuff and, well, everything is back in New Orleans and we know nothing about our house just yet. I have some clients who will want to record me over the coming weeks. Can you recommend studios in Atlanta with whom I could work? Thanks. |

I have relatives in Slidell. Their house is OK and power is now back on and water restored. Our cousin's husband shattered his elbow by tripping over a sandbag as they were leaving just before the storm hit. He was in a Slidell hospital during the storm. When he got out of the hospital and returned to the house, it was in better shape than the hospital. We lost contact with him for 6 days. His son drove from Smirna GA and found him in the house with the cat. He had a generator and stockpiled w\ food and water.
I hope you are as lucky. They only had minor wind damage while neighbors that were lower were flooded.
I hpoe someone is kind enough under the cirmcumstances to give you a good deal (or free) studio time. Some one down that way to help out???
Good luck,
Greg |
