I haven't followed the link yet but just by the title FOUR CANDLES you've GOT to be referring to The Two Ronnies...one of the most clever programs ever! That sketch seems to have become a national treasure over there 'asn't it! They were just wonderful. Ronnie B's "Mispronunciation" PSA sketch is a scream, as well as "Cheers" (Ronnie B ordering drinks and getting the order all messed up each time he has a gin n tonic, til it comes out all mangled but correct!!) Masters of the complexity of the English language. |
