Just a song that I kept hearing every holiday season when I was a kid.
NEwho - the funny thing is that it's actually on good ol' Youtube. Gotta love the web!
No idea why I'm posting this.. just burned my daughter a holiday CD so maybe that's it... good night.
PEACE.

Thanks, Anthony!
I've loved Feliz Navidad since I was—

My folks had his "Feliciano!" LP way back when and I finally found it on CD a couple years ago. He's a great guitarist. Anthony, if you like Feliz Navidad, you should check out his entire Christmas album if that's still around. It's become one of my favorites. _________________ Greg Littlefield

Catchy tune...
When I was a kid, one December we went to Puerto Rico for a week. My folks rented a car and we toured the countryside. We stopped in a littel town, and there was a town square (well, ok, there was a town square in every town we stopped), and "Feliz Navidad" was blaring from huge speakers, people celebrating, Santa talking to kids, kids dancing. Lots of fun... everytime I hear that song, that's what I think of!
They're all catchy... _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

Just for clarification - the links in my posts are not Jose Feliciano's Feliz Navidad. I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas in the Subject field. These links are for a song known as "Mi Burrito Sabanero" (My Little Donkey of the Plains), but who's actual title is "El Burrito de Belén" (The Little Donkey from Bethlehem) as originally written by the Venezualan composer Hugo Blanco.

Yeah - i have the original vinyl release - good stuff! It's available on iTunes though. I prefer the crackle and warmth of the original. Plus it smells like old carboard and old home Aaaaaaahhhhh. |

I remember when it was a new release. And it's timeless. Also love his version of the Doors, "Light My Fire". _________________ Bobbin Beam

Finally had a chance to listen/watch now that it's lunchtime. Funny, I've never heard this song before. And I grew up in San Antonio!
I'm with ya on the ambiance of old vinyl, too. I've been lugging about a thousand of them with me everywhere I go. Unfortunately, they don't hold up too well in the car. _________________ Greg Littlefield

I have to say I like Jose Feliciano's acoustic version (url above) of Feliz Navidad more than the pop version Click Hear! . What a difference.
Now I am going to be using the rest of my limited knowledge of the Spanish language all day long.
Gracias!
