Yep. We loves our VO-BB. And may Joy be the default setting in your house, too; dear Deirdre. (I love that line! ) _________________ Be well,

We've been kickin' back all day; reading, resting, eating, snuggling. Got on tonight to send some pix of us in our presents to the MIL.
Cheers all! _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

I think I'm going to be very busy at home soon... my son bought me a wet tile cutter machine. Maybe I'm getting too handy? _________________ "Bailey"

yup, quiet, unwinding time is great!.
The kid's guitars and other noise makers are closed for the night and I'll settle down with Joan Baker's book that Santa brought after a few minutes.
I spent a bunch of time listening to NBC Nightly News submissions on Peter's Website....man ya'll are a talented bunch!
Merry Christmas

Bailey,
Before you even unpack that tile cutter, list it on e-bay or the classifieds, but get it out of your home. I recently tiled two tub surrounds and a bathroom floor and the therapy, both physical and mental, will take several months. Only kidding (mostly).Best of luck with your projects.
What a joyous time last night and today with family, especially the delightful grandkids, both here and afar (over the phone). Family...what a blessing.
I hope all of you had a great holiday.
Seems the other boards, that don't really exist, are quiet tonight, but not our VO-BB family with all its well-wishing and pleasantries. Thanks DB and company for being an extended family.
And that cattle call for the NBC Nightly News VO was a lot of fun.
I wish ya'll everything wonderful and blessed.

Considering it was a very quiet day at our house today- it was a joy to have the VO-BB to check on occasion and find new posts! It was a wonderful Christmas. My hubby did great (as always)- a beautiful vase for forcing bulbs, a cook book holder, and a gorgeous new outfit. Among my gifts to him was a "I'm bloggin this" t-shirt courtesy of a site posting on this board- he loved it!
One of the cats had torn open several of the gifts in the middle of the night- and was overjoyed when he could slide through the unwrapped papers. Quite a sight!
Best part of the day? Talking to my 92 year old grandpa in Lubbock, and catching re-runs of Survivorman!
It's back to work in the morning...3 big projects to complete. I just LOVE the Holidays! _________________ Threadjackers local 420

Just came back and am feeling rather bloated.
Too. Much. Good. Food. And I cooked none of it.
Also watched a lot of the NBA triple-header today, in between the gluttony. My kids' entire family was there, which was fantastic for all of us. Talked to my own folks, and brother's family.
The girls are conked out, and their brother is getting ready for bed. Think I'll start It's A Wonderful Life in a minute before it heads back in the Christmas stuff until next Christmas.
As I'm getting set to brew the coffee, let me just say Merry Christmas to y'all, and thanks for making this a fun place to hang out.
Peace _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

It's 12:30 AM, Wednesday morning. After years of subjecting ourselves to tense family holiday gatherings, my daughter and I planned a wonderful relaxing Christmas for just the two of us. and our birds. Got up late, opened lots of gifts we had gotten each other, had Chinese food and watched DVD's. I played her the group's "Twas the Night Before Christmas". She said all involved have fantastic voices.
I think the members of this board are amazingly talented and caring. I'm so glad that a producer friend of mine recommened I contact DB who in turn suggested I check out this board. I joined that very afternoon.
I don't have any siblings but I feel like I'm living in this communal cyber space house with several VO roommates. Okay so who left the dirty dishes in the sink?
Cheers,
Chrissy |

Sorry, that was me Chrissy, I meant to finish that second load before bed but I fell asleep in the recliner watching my kids play Halo 3 (they woke me up at 11 to tell me to go to bed. ) _________________ Moe Egan
