every now and then when I just get to be satisfied with what I have, people remind me of preamps like this one (awwwwwwssssuuuuummmmmm - and not just because it looks purdy.)
thanks for the pics, though. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

With a few modifications I bet I could adjust the orbit of GOES-12 with that. |

Buzz Audio Elixir (preamp) and Essence (opto compressor).
This is the Buzz Audio gear housed in a six space lunchbox - basically a grab and go. If you've got an Avalon M5 / La3A combo, this is basically that on steroids. For sizing, the circles are roughly the size of a US quarter. This is a very quiet preamp, not as quiet as the Hardy Dual Jensen.
Elixir is around $750, the Essence $1000. _________________ Genus |

I start feeling very gear-hungry when I see stuff like this. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Yet, still no substitute for great copy.
Wasn't that box featured in PLAN NINE FROM OUTER SPACE? _________________ www.asapaudio.com |

Talk to us, Kevin. You have steered us toward that amazing Buzz gear before and many report it sounds fantastic.
Tell us how the Requisite stuff sounds.
...and many thanks, again. _________________ Wild Willie Edwards

Anthony - You sly #$@%#!. It's all good.... I'm just patient.
Jeff - My pals PAL may be different by sight, but that PALs output is scaring other VOs tonight!
Bill - Great copy, no. All other copy, yes.
Yoda - They've been around since 2005, the power supply, that's a different story. See Anthony's comment.
Jowillie - Check out the Mix Review. It's dated by two revisions but they summed it up well. The Affiliate Demo on my site is the PAL/416 combo. _________________ Genus |

Yeah, I've been wanting to snag 2 channels of those for a wee bit, but until I start doing more commercial work (crosses fingers for permission to start hitting more in Feb... work-related thing), I'm holding off.
One must keep the gear-itis in constant check _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser
