over a bowl of cheerios this morning i asked boy #3 what he did at recess. "usually", he says, "we play cops & robbers." which is cool - i didn't think kids played that anymore. i asked him if he was a "cop" or a "robber". he proceeded to explain the whole game - how the robbers go into a store or a bank and the people are scared then the cops show up and there is a big stand-off. and i asked again "are you a cop - or a robber?" he said "i'm the guy who says 'lets just take it easy, man!" the kid ain't right.

What a great story!!! Thanks for the laugh!

It reminded me of the time my then 8yr old nephew and his friends broke a neighbor's window. One boy admitted they had thrown sticks at this window. My nephew insisted he never, ever threw a stick...

all he threw was a brick.

The color version is my new headshot. My mom hates it. She says I look sad or bored or something. Oh well!
