It seems lagging sales of coffee is changing the face of Starbucks and they are going to offer $1.00 a cup and FREE refills in the Seattle area. What does the future portend for the coffee giant? Will we have to resort to making coffee at home soon?
See the above link for more information.

For a wedding present my sister bought us one share of Starbucks Stock. Just one.
She framed the certificate with a plaque that said, "Every Day Remember to Say You Love Each Other a Whole Latte".
It's hanging in my office. Wonder what it is worth now? _________________ Threadjackers local 420

worth $20.09 at today's closing. if that stock was bought for you before the split a while back, it's worth twice that. _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

I bought some SBUX about 9 years ago. Not a ton, but enough to make me a little bit crabby now. |

Prior to this new development,...
the joke was "you know why they call it Starbucks in stead of Starbuck...? Cause there's no way that you're gettin' outta there for just a dollar" (Yuk yuk) |

Frank, you scared me. I saw the subject and assumed Starbucks had started using Pro Tools. |

Went to a Starbucks today and just as we walked in the fire alarm went off. Ordered our coffee and marble cake and they comped us the coffee to apologize for the false alarm...
