Todd,
I remember seeing that for the first time a little over a year ago, right about the same time we'd learned that our youngest son, Brian, has a form of autism. Very moving. _________________ Be well,

How beautiful to see such a joyful thing. It's certainly been the highlight of my day. Thanks Todd! _________________ Intuit and do it!

I LOVE that story.
I'll tell ya, we are well rid of the old days of sending those kids away, and instead, letting them grow up in school with everyone else.
Younger Bear (in college now) is an Aspberger's Syndrome kid. A great deal of how he learned to get along is a direct result of his interactions with "my students" as he called them when he was young.
Hooray for mainstreaming!
He wants to help teach now. Imagine that. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

That was one of my favorite stories ever!
I'll never forget hearing that Bob's youngest had a form of autism...after a wonderful 2-hour dinner together, I honestly never would have guessed. It is a testament to great parenting for sure!
Deirdre- on last season's America's Next Top Model, one of the models had Asperger's Syndrome. I had never been a fan of the show- but after catching it one day, I was hooked. That is, until that gorgeous girl was kicked off near the finals and I stopped watching. She was mesmerizing and such an inspiration!!! _________________ Threadjackers local 420
