BioShock was an incredible game and it is just so cool that you were apart of it Peter. Not only did it break records for sound clips in the game, it also set new standards for storytelling and morality decisions.
I've been a gamer all my life and am recently new to the voice over world. (So new I'm still working on my demo... ) With video games becoming such a lucrative industry I'm hoping to be able to get in and make a name for myself. Living outside of Boston, which is becoming heavy-hitter in the video game development world, I hope will be to my advantage.
2K Games Boston (then Irrational Games), the developers of BioShock, is located in the Boston area. When you recorded your part for the game did you do it in Boston, Peter?
Like I said I'm new to all this so I'm curious about every little aspect. |

nope I didn't record in Boston, rather it was an ISDN session from Buffalo patched into NYC, I think.
I did the session well over a year before the game came out and I had no idea what bioshock was at the time.
it was a fun session. now it still remains to be seen if old henry made it into the game or was left like some blood splattered carcus on the floor...kind of like some of the game's less lucky characters _________________ - Peter

My first post here on VO-BB and I messed it up and got split off from the thread. Sorry...
After speaking with others that have voiced game character's (3 total) it seems the ISDN is the preferred manner of recording. It'll be a while before I can justify setting up an ISDN connection at my house. So, it looks like it's off to auditions for me. That is when I can find them. |

Fear not Russ, you're now ranked a "private" in the Banks-O'Connell (age before beauty) thread splitters and jackers association, 3rd planet from the sun division.
Congratulations.
Oh, this year you're on KP and Latrine duty.
Get to it _________________ - Peter
