|
|
Hi to all,
I write this post from France, I start a little French Local Web TV.
I try to find any courses, advices or tips to improve my VO edge. My goal is not to do a carieer on the VO business, but give good result on my little production.
If you have some web site address where I can find exercices to work the sound, the edge or simply the voice, thanks to share.
Bye to all |

If you're looking for tips... You have arrived. Just do a search in the ARCHIVES for a gold mine of information.
As for the FREE COURSES... I have never heard of any... but I could be wrong. _________________ "Bailey"

You aren't going to find a "what do I need to do to be better" post in the archives. Instead, narrow down where you think you need improvement and then try searching. Baby steps. _________________ Jeff

Yes... to what Jeff, and Diane said.
Read advertisements... newspapers... novels... out loud. Record yourself... listen to how you sound. If it sounds like you're reading the words, make it sound different. Read as if you are talking to someone... make it personal... direct... believable.
Listen to the demos that others on the VO-BB have on their website. Notice how they sound. Is it believable... does it sound personal? A lot can be learned by listening.
Bonne chance. Passer un bon moment. _________________ "Bailey"

Salut des Etas Unis! Bienvenue!!

And for those of you who don't speak our beautiful language I told him to check the archives here, do a Google search, listen to podcasts & check out a friend's site in Paris who started the first VO school in France _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

I figured you were either saying that... or... telling him where he could find all of the deep dark secrets of voice overs success on the Internet.

Wait a minute, Bailey. Are you telling me there are deep dark secrets on the Internet? Is there a secret handshake I need to know to access? _________________ Ron Phillips
