...you pay shipping. My shipping was a little under $13 from CA to IN.
The woman who did my last headshots sent me the email saying that she's just gotten her's, and her theater company uses them as well.
Promo code is FREEPC08. Hurry, you've got til the 29th ONLY!
And no, they don't put their logo anywhere on the card.
Your mileage may vary, but you can design something interactively, and get your cards ASAP. If you've been stymied in your marketing efforts, this could get your ball rolling. If you don't have a ball, maybe you could land a few voice over gigs - and then you can get a ball.
Please move this post if it belongs somewhere else.

Sarah

Are there other shipping options besides overnight? $13 seems steep if you're not in a hurry. VistaPint offers 100 free postcards and their "slow" shipping is only $5 or so. _________________ Jeff

doubt it...ergo the name.
I'm not a big fan of other companies' logos on my stuff - unless I've done a job for them, of course.
Can you design a custom postcard with vistaprint? I remember the old days when the business cards were of water droplets, and that was about it. _________________ http://www.musevoxvoiceovers.com

I uploaded a photoshop file and had them printed. They should arrive in a couple of days. No vistaprint logo as far as I can tell.
They were also giving away 25 free magnets, 140 free return address labels, and 80% off premium business cards. _________________ Jeff

Vistaprint does not put their logo on your stuff. I do all my printing thru them. I was very pleased a couple of weeks ago when I ordered 250 postcards... I just had them sent "economy" which is within 21 days. I placed the order on Wed. night, they were printed on Thursday, and at my house on Monday.
Thanks for the tip Sarah!!!!! I would definitely do it if I hadn't done my postcards a couple of weeks ago. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

I had my business cards done at overnightprints a couple of years ago. Very nice quality and color, butthe cut was off. Oddly enough they gave me a choice of sending a few back so that some committee could determine if it was withing their standards to determine whether they would be reprinted gratis. Or I could just return them for a refund.
Well, I didn't need a committee to tell me what my eyes were seeing, so I just took the refund. No further questions asked. Other than the pesky cut, they looked really nice.
I ended up having new ones done at gotprint.com. The cut and quality were fine, but I preferred the color match from overnightprints. |

agreed on both counts on gotprint.com, don.
great paper, great quality, great price ... but they must be using some kind of chinese cmyk --- my "blue" turned out purple ... and i even gave them the pantone #. it wasn't enough to make me unhappy with them ... i'll probably use them again. but i'll talk to someone first.
from working in the publishing business for several years i have had dealings with a LOT of printers ... most will work with you on correcting their mistakes - but you REALLY have to convince them it's THEIR mistake. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis
