To introduce myself? I'm another of those who spend months lurking and reading, gleaning much valuable knowledge from what is clearly the highest concentration of quality voice talkers on this planet.
I have been a working voice talent here in the midwest since a demo was actually on tape. In a box. Mailed by the Post Office. Gigs booked thru The Agent. Recorded at The Studio. In other words, I'm a bit of a dinosaur, but I'm want to catch up.
Thanks for all the great posts, and I look forward to playing with all of you.

Shoutin' out to you Donna from So.Cal. I used to be in the Midwest (Milwaukee & Chicago) & started out at a time when reel-to reels were the norm...before casettes. Aging sucks, but I still have my pipes! Looking forward to more discourse here with you. _________________ Bobbin Beam

Welcome Donna! You're gonna love this place even more in the light.
DAT tapes? I remember running a tape from a reel to reel in one studio all the way to a similar machine in the adjacent studio to get a delay effect. And it worked (until the tape broke)! |
