BBC Radio 2 is a national station and I am told that at somewhere in excess of 8 million listeners the breakfast show takes some beating anywhere in the world. Not bad considering the presenter is a 70 year old (Terry Wogan). Youth obsessed? Apparently not. For those who are interested the link takes you to the top girls on the top station. |

OMG! Terry Wogan is still on over there? My friends all listened to him every morning...as did I. He has won Survivor! (I guess over here that would be Bob Barker.) |

Philip,
Since this is your second reply, perhaps you are a prophet. Quite a lovely article, thank you for providing the link. _________________ Be well,

Dang— no one ever sent ME any underwear.

So Philip. What do you think of Johnny Vaughan and Denise Van Outen getting back together on the radio. Do you think they'll be as big they were on on The Big Brekkie????? _________________ Intuit and do it!

Thinking about what else is going on in terms of London radio they stand a good chance of turning Capital FMs audience figures around. |

Er...what does "minging" mean, anyway?

Ming - Unpleasant
Minging - Engaged or presently being unpleasant
Minger - One who is unpleasant
Unpleasant in this context could be either odour or appearance.
"I dated a female voice over who sounded hot but turned out to be a real minger".
"He opened his sandwich box and the contents contained an old egg and cress bagette; it was minging".
"So tell me Hugo is your sister attractive?"
"Frankly, Tarquin, she mings". |

Ah. Thank you, Banksey. That is far more interesting and useful than my Word of the Day. (Indolent. "That is one seriously indolent minger.")
