VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Hey all,

I've already posted another topic under Chat. My head is FULL of questions tonight. I keep hearing nonstop about how Voices.com is the best place to market oneself and I intend to buy a premium membership in the next month or so. In the meantime I explored more of the website and saw a few e-books listed, for a price of course.

There's:
"Definitive Guide to Voice-Over Success on the Internet"
"The Ultimate Business Plan For Voice Actors"
"The INternet M,arketing Plan for Voice Actors"

Has anyone purchased these works? Do you recommend them?

Mary,

They're ebooks and come free with your paid subscription. You said you wait "another month or so". If I were you, I'd get grandfathered in because Tuesday, the membership fees go up a hundred dollars.

Just a thought.

Well,

I just realized that you don't get ALL the books for free. I really wanted the three books mentioned below. All I got was two script books and Voiceover Guide with information I already have from numerous other sources.

Any other advice?

You're not missing out on that much. They're OK, but nothing you won't get by hanging out here or reading people's blogs.

I'm not in the mood the spend more money today. I'd rather there be a book of every ad agency, video game company known to man, all up to date and so on. That I would purchase.

I guess there is no such thing right now.

I SO apologize for my faux pas about the books. I could've sworn I got them with my subscription. I searched my entire hard drive for them to no avail. Frown

Because of my mistake, I had wanted to share them with you, but I do not have them.
