I know some of you are also attending the Randy Thomas/Peter Rofe workshop in Fort Myers this weekend. Safe travels to all.

I decided to drive down since it's "only" about 9 hours from here. I'm actually looking forward to it. As much as I love my family, the solitude of the open road-sunroof-blaring radio combo is very appealing lately.

The only downside, with gas prices where they are I think it would have been cheaper to fly. Oh well.

Brian,

I'm looking forward to the drive also. (Of course, it's only about 2 hours for me...)

Maybe we can swap some CDs for the return trip. Oh, that reminds me, time to charge the iPod!

See you in Ft Myers!

Probably still faster than if you were flying American Airlines.

I cannot wait to meet you guys in person... and everyone else who's coming!!!! I'm SO EXCITED!!!!! YAY!!!!! VO peeps coming to my side of the world!!!!

Now, if only the Bob Souer World Tour would make a stop here.... then we'd be on the map!

As for driving.... well, you're probably better off. With American, and another airline going belly up this week, a couple of attendees have been affected and scrambling for flights.

See you for sushi tonight! Smile

I had one of those drives today, too, Brian. Only mine was a total of four hours with a stop in beautiful downtown South Berwick for a wonderful lunch with our waycool Board Mistress. Smile

Most of the drive was open sunroof and Foo Fighters ... and Robin Trower.

Not to worry Liz, we'll hoist something in your honor tomorrow. Laugh

Im looking forward to the Bob Bergen Worshop as well as meeting Moe, CC and Greg. I'll have an interesting challenge at the workshop since I'm still sounding nasal from a 7 week upper respiratory event. The ENT speciaist now has me on steroid spray and mucinex plus I've added my neti pot.

Don't worry I'm not contagious.

We'll put some Starbucks in your Neti Pot tomorrow and you'll be ROCKIN Chrissy! Wink

Greg,

I'm pretty sure you don't want to put any in your neti pot, though! Laugh

A netipot of WD40. Now there's a wonderful thought at 5am.

The drive was actually quite relaxing. I had CD's with me but ended up listening to the radio the whole drive, mostly surfing until I found a commercial break and listening to those. Man Home Depot is running one heck of a national campaign right now.

Caryn and I went to dinner last night. She's every bit the bright vibrant and talented woman I knew she would be. After dinner we met up with Randy Thomas, Peter Rofe and Amy Donovan for a bit. I didn't have the camera with me but I will get some shots today.

Fort Myers is a beautiful place and so far the weather has been great. It makes me wish I'd planned on staying an extra day to explore the town.

I'm so excited about the workshop today I can't sleep. Well, breakfast isn't until 6. I think I'll go for a walk.

I keep the break surfing to a minimum when there are others in the car. I get yelled at a lot otherwise. Smile

And Bob, I don't think that would be such a good idea, either. Barf
