I'm a little farther west than Scott. (but still in Utah) It's not snowing here yet. Winter however, seems to be fast approaching. There is talk of one of the ski resorts opening this weekend. Not sure if it did or not |

Winter in San Diego is when it is 60 and raining. We are sooo spoiled.

...and when it drops down into the 60's, that's when we may put on a light sweater and only use the AC in the late afternoon. Winters in San Diego wouldn't be such a hassle if we didn't have to contend with that pesky morning ground fog. _________________ "Bailey"

I am a bit to the East of Scott and things are nice and cozy here in Park City... a warm fire, a winter white coat of snow outside and more snow on the way (or so the weatherman tells us...).
No skiing yet, but it IS coming soon!
Thanks for the great pic Scott.

Quiet day today and on my walk I discovered I wasn't the only one with nothing to do.

Wow-- look at your speckled neighbors!
Does the sound of their barking reach your house? You must have some hefty soundproofing for your studio if it does. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

When I arrive with dog and camera they give me a "hurumph" but that's about it. As you can see, Grey Seals are very mellow. At low tide they lie and soak up the sun in between bouts of playing in the waves. Their favourite spot is about 3 minutes walk from my front door.
The hefty soundproofing is for the RAF Tornados and it doesn't work when they fly over the house at 150 feet, fortunately that's not very often. |

Aww! look at that seal looking directly into the camera!
I'm seriously missing a dose of nature, nearest we get is the squirrels in Central Park (and the pigeons in the air shaft) |
