Hi there - thinking about going to this on Thursday the 29th. Have an MCA-I meeting (that I am planning so I can't bug out too early) in Carlsbad on Wednesday evening until around 9 and then would drive up to crash somewhere until the 8AM start time on Thursday.
Any audio book narrator types here who can recommend a good inexpensive hotel close to the LA Convention Center?
Anyone else planning to go? _________________ Playing for a living...

Hey Connie - I'll be there.
I'm arriving late Tuesday night so I can attend the Master Class on Wednesday afternoon at Marc Graue's studio with Stefan Rudnicki (I have no idea if I am spelling their names correctly and I'm too lazy to look them up - hopefully they will forgive me if I'm not).
I'm also staying to spend a day at BEA on Friday and leaving Saturday afternoon.
Are you going to be there - do I get to meet you _________________ Elaine

Connie,
It's killin' me not to go, but my youngest is graduating from H.S. Thursday and we have family coming into town for the weekend, plus a party for everyone here. Otherwise I'd suggest we drive up together after the MCA-I meeting. Oh well. Maybe next year! Have fun.

Yup. And then off to Cal State U- San Marcos in the Fall! I know! Pete & I are gonna be empty nesters, finally. But I know I'll be bawling my head off on Grad night.
I hope you have a great time the conference, and hope you and Elaine will be sharing some highlights here.
Elaine- Sorry to miss meeting you this time around. It's a long journey from Canada to LA. Have fun! _________________ Bobbin Beam

Yeah, Bobbin, I'm sorry too - but family comes first! Enjoy the celebration. _________________ Elaine
