It sounds a bit dodgy, and obviously the Voices team think so too, from their caveat not to record all the prompts.
The writing style is at odds with the large budget, too. |

I liked their direction to "speak and record the following prompts".
I was just going to speak them, D'oh!
Then there's this: "Your watching channel six news" and the bit about the world of news being like an ocean.
Obviously an overseas money-laundering scheme. Nice try, bozos. The lead is now closed. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

Very different kind of post- bit of a red flag....and now closed. I would've checked our their website straight away. Guess it's a moot point now. _________________ Bobbin Beam

Interesting, I used to be "The Voice" for the station in Albany... Oh well, now I know what happened to my gig...

Yeah, it's gone from being "The Voice" to being "Some Guy". _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Dodgy post = rapid Delete.
Not to open a can of worms, but if Voices staff thought this was a bit sketchy (which they obviously did from their disclaimer), why would they even post it... A non-paying member makes a very odd job posting inquiry and then fails to answer inquiry e-mails from a service who has been requested to invite it's paying members to reply... hmmm... kinda dodgy? Does the dog wag the tail or the tail wag the dog... just askin'
Now my own disclaimer... nothing against Voices... their service has treated me very well in the past 6-months and I have no complaints, I simply come back to the seemingly odd focus of the business model. Simply food for thought.
Have a great Saturday! _________________ Brian Forrester Voice Overs
