|
|
It's winter and the steam heat has come on in NYC.
I have surfed all over looking for some pipe lagging - my studio has a floor-to-ceiling (12 foot by 3" wide) heating pipe which makes some interesting noises.
The suppliers I found only sell industrial lengths of pipe soundproofing..... they don't even get back to me when I ask for enough for this one pipe.
Has anyone found anything which is a good substitute for noise reduction of a heating pipe? |

The people upstairs might not like it very much, since it involves elimating their source of heatr, and the initial installation is a bit hot, wet and messy, but these 4 items will take care of your problem  _________________ Brian Forrester Voice Overs

Yeah, but pulling out a hacksaw and getting to cut into something made of steal is soooooo much more fun! _________________ Brian Forrester Voice Overs

Oh, it's more fun with a chainsaw. Yep, way more fun  _________________ www.michaelrhys.com

Just give a warning before you fire that thing so I can get down off the pipes... the view from up here is just so damned nice at the moment! |
