It is Spain's year for sport!

- Spain won soccer's Euro cup 2008
- Rafael Nadal won Wimbledon in the most amazing match of Centre Court's history
and now
- Carlos Sastre won the Tour de France

I think Spain will be taking the rest of the summer off to celebrate!

I'm a big tennis fan and Nadal iis playing incredible tennis this year. Amazing -- and a joy to watch.

My very first trip to Europe was to Spain in 1982. Entranced by its charm and beauty from Madrid to Marbella -- I've been in love with Europe ever since and return as often as the budget will allow, which now, alas, is not nearly often enough.
