someone who knows i'm trying to learn more about self-promotion loaned me a book used at a modeling school. it has a section on voiceovers.

i won't name the book or author because even though it's dated and has some proofreading problems, there really is a lot of accurate (if basic) stuff there. but one of the opening lines made me laugh out loud:

"Another plus is that when you record a spot, it usually doesn't take all day."
