VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

I just wanted to post that our beloved friend and vo-bb member, Ben Wilson, is the master of demo production. Who knew? Smile

I recently recorded new commercial and promo demos with Ben.... he gives fabulous direction and his production skillz are killer. And, he was simply fun to work with!

You can check out my new commercial demo on my web site (www.CarynClark.net). The promo demo is still in the works, but I have no doubt it will shine!

Caryn is too kind. I would rather say she is a true Queen of voiceover. She is very, very talented indeed. Because of the tremendous job she did, I am sure her new demos will serve her very well.

Nahh.... ok, it's both of us. But I'm just grateful to have had the opportunity to have befriended you. Which, is another reason to love the vo-bb so much!!!

I had to resurrect this thread. This thread along with another recommendation led me to Ben for my imaging demos.

He truly is a master.

Wow thanks Melissa! I was offline with no power since Sunday because of the wind storms that hit us from Ike rolling up the country and come here to check out the VOBB now that the electric is hopping again and see some nice words about me. You made my day!

Melissa and I worked on these before the Dan O' Day Summit. She is a tremendous person and a truly gifted voice actor. It was a blast working with her.

Yes, in between my own sessions, I find the time to work with many very talented voiceovers to find their best foot in which to put forward.

It is always a fun process....lots of laughs along with the coaching and recording....breaking down copy and really helping people walk away with the skills to analyze the emotion and the different moods and energies needed to make something so fake, like the commercials we listen to everyday, sound as real as possible.

I only work with established working professionals. I am not good at working with new VO people because they don't quite get the ideas and concepts that I throw out during the coaching process. People that have been in the trenches seem to benefit most from the things I share when coaching for a demo because they are further along and they get it.

Okay, this does seem like a commercial. I am just wanting to let you know about who I work with etc. I never ask anyone to post reviews or comments on any board for me. It has been my experience that the folks that worked with me liked the process and their demo so much that they posted their comments. For that I am honored. I am VO first and foremost and I don't do demo production full time. All proceeds for demos go straight to the APFBVOS Fund (Another Purchase For Ben's VO Studio).

I really do appreciate the kind words on the demos though. Thank you all for the nice comments!
