Everybody liked the 'CourVO' logo, so I had it incorporated into my new business cards.
BOTH SIDES:
Oh, and I just got a box of 5,000....so please don't anybody find any errors!

Rats! I just realized.... it doesn't have my e-mail address on it anywhere.
Oh, well, they can find it on my website or my blog, or text me on my phone.
But...yeah, that's an oversight.

Dave,
May I ask what was the reasoning behind printing on both sides of the card? I always went with a blank matte side for note taking.
They look very sharp and will get folks to your site, which for my money is the goal.
Be well,

I would have removed the gray from "ISDN-equipped private studio" and "ISDN and Source-Connect equipped Home Studio". That's a personal thing, but it just didn't stand out to me.
Also, why didn't you keep it the same both times? I would have kept "private studio" instead of "home studio" (sounds more professional to me).
Overall, I'd give it a 9/10. It's definitely much more professional than most of the stuff I see out there. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

Sam,
That's a great idea, and I admit I use the backs of cards for that too. But my designers really pushed the idea of printing both sides as to give the maximum amount of info possible.
I've already ordered my corrected cards.

i intentionally left my email address off the last batch of cards out of superstition.
the time before, i carefully included the email address, had hundreds of cards printed...and my little internet service provider left town.
of course now that i have my own domain name, it wouldn't be such an issue. meanwhile, i have email links on every page of my website, and the site is plastered prominently on the card, so that's my compromise till next time.
i too use the back of the card for more information about services.
but i do admit, having the back empty does allow you to do the old "goon show" routine by handing it backside up:
talent: "my card."
client: "hmm....it appears to be blank."
talent: "business is bad." _________________ rowell gormon

Lovely lovely lovely...and slick. Also, very pro. Well done.
The light bulb has finally gone off in my head. My home studio is, in actuality, a Private Studio: it sounds so much better. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

Conveys a professional, confident and well-designed image. Also integrates well with your website's look. Well done!
Enjoy!

Hi Dave,
I love it... it looks great!!!! I'm so darn envious of your logo!!
The only suggestion I have is to use only one or two fonts. You currently use three, including times new roman. I would change that to a sans-serif font for consistency. But that's just me....
Good stuff Dave!
edited to add: You know, I looked at this again, and the only place the times new roman bugs me is where you have your web site address, and then the other info at the bottom of the flip side of the card. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!
