From Saturday, October 18 through Monday, October 20 my son Eric and I will be making a weekend business trip through Knoxville, TN; Lexington, KY; Cincinnati, OH, Dayton, OH, Columbus, OH and Pittsburgh, PA.

Assuming all goes well, we're hoping to connect with a few of our VO friends along the way. We'll be in Knoxville, TN around lunch time on Saturday, October 18.

And we'll be in Lexington, KY around dinner time that same day.

We'll be staying that night somewhere in the Cincinnati or Dayton area so either a dessert Saturday evening or breakfast Sunday morning would be options.

And we'll be stopping for Sunday dinner sometime shortly after Noon near Columbus, OH. We'll travel over to Pittsburgh, PA on Sunday evening and have a business meeting scheduled with one of my clients on Monday morning in Pittsburgh. Following that meeting, we'll be driving back to North Carolina with a possible stop near Mt. Airy to say a quick "hello" to Ed Gambill as we get closer to home on Monday evening the 20th.

If you live in or near one of these places, I sure hope we can connect while we're on our way through.

Moe,

New England is on my list of places to visit, I don't know when, but I am going to get up there. Meanwhile, I have a business meeting in Pittsburgh every 3 or 4 months, so for now I have to go where the business is.

Bob,
I'm really bummed that I'll have to miss this visit. As I told you on our last visit in Charleston I was afraid I'd be working a University of KY football game and that has turned out to be true. While you're at dinner I'll be sitting in a TV production truck (game time 7Hobo Happy. I do hope that Tom Ackerman can attend and others close by.
God's speed on your journey,
-roger

Too bad you're not also running for office, Bob. That would be way convenient!

Roger, it's too bad you won't be able to be around. I've got to fill-in Sat but I've got a little wiggle room.

Have a safe trip, Bob! And if you live anywhere near where Bob is visiting, give him a shout and ask to join him for a meal. He's a wonderful man with a wonderful family. And besides, VO is a lonely biz. Gotta get out into the sunshine and speak to actual human beings once in awhile, you know?

Tom,

Thank you and I quite agree. It's a big part of the reason I try to meet up with folks when I'm traveling. Not to mention what a delight it is to put faces to voices in person when they've only been online connections previously.

And Todd, thank you for the big smile. However, I'm not running for anything except being a good husband, dad and breadwinner for my family.
