Jeff,
It's a clever idea, but I don't see how this connects with your other branding and imaging? _________________ Be well,

Jeff,
As usual, Bob makes a good point. Also, direct from the "Overthinking Department" (a curse of mine), I'm not convinced that the headline and the visual really match. Yes, in terms of color, the red piece does stand out from the rest, but otherwise (shape, size, etc.), it's pretty much the same as all the others, no? _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)

Also, a bit of random capitalization has me going slightly bonkers. I know you asked for thoughts on the iStock photo but ...
At top, voice-over is capitalized? And why is voice artist capitalized?

I think it's too busy and the graphic is kind of cold / depressing to me. _________________ Lou Zucaro

ok, I'll scratch it. Back to the drawing board.
I'm finding it very difficult to come up with new ideas for postcard campaigns. _________________ Jeff

Kafer,
Here's my two cents. I don't hate the idea of the missing puzzle piece. I think that maybe you just need a different graphic. Like Doug said, the piece looks very similar to the others, and like Lou said, the graphic was a little drab.
Most importantly though, my dear friend... WHERE OH WHERE is your logo on that entire postcard? You can't be a brand without the brand!
So, maybe with a different graphic, and add in your logo and contact information toward the bottom, you might have something. On the flip side of the postcard should be succinct text about your most recent hot gig or two. Very brief, maybe some logos added in related to the gigs.

It's really funny you say that, Caryn, I tried to put my logo in, but I don't have one with an alpha channel to mask the background. So my logo looked lame with the white square behind it. _________________ Jeff

Jeff,
What if you did a postcard where your logo is the missing piece of the puzzle? _________________ Be well,

Thanks for the idea, Bob. I'm scratching the puzzle idea. I've got a better image that will allow me some flexibility. Will post it when it's ready. _________________ Jeff

Jeff... If all of the OTHER pieces are voice artists... it wouldn't make sense to me.
But if YOU are the MISSING PIECE to someone's PUZZLE (problem)... be it vocal presentation, commercial production, animation, audio book... then I would totally get it.
