VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

All of San Diego county is aware of what is happening at Qualcomm from 10:00AM to 10:00PM this Saturday (11/01). It concerns a certain proposition that is getting a LOT of press in California. They're expecting close to 60,000 people. They called for security today... lots of us.

I'm not concerned about the "Yes" people. I'm more concerned about the "No" people who may try to make things ruff. I'll only be there from 7:00AM to 3:30PM.

Lots of stuff going on during this election year, and I just don't want to be caught in the middle of it. But then again... maybe it will be a quiet, peaceful day.

Hope all is well. I'm in Anaheim at ProTrack and we went down to Newport for the evening - pretty tame there - well, except for the fact that it is Halloween and there were a LOT of scary folk wandering the streets and riding their beach bikes at midnight.

In my area, it's the "yes" people who have caused the most trouble, I'm sad to report. Yanking signs off people's lawns and shouting hateful things at peaceful gatherings. Mello

Got back by 4:00PM... and my dogs are barking.
Peaceful... yes
Quiet... no.
I'm just not into Christian Rock ringing in my ears. The prayer service looked more like a revival. By the time I left, the attendance must have been 30k to 35k. None of the "No" people showed up on my shift.
Thank you, to my San Diego/California peeps for observing the VO-BB politics ban in this thread. It was my intention to avoid the "issue"... and keep momma D happy.
