I am no expert linguist, but if it is of Irish origination my best guess would be to pronounce it
"TALL-kate"
with emphasis on the first syllable.

My question about that VO lead -- besides the pronunciation of the location -- is, if the event is being held in conjunction with a radio station, why wouldn't they have someone from the station voice the spot?

Hi, I just asked a client in Dublin and he asked if you were quite certain of the spelling of the place name......as a Dubliner, he thought it was probbably Tallaght.....which would be pronounced Talla.......like Tallahassee. Make sense?
