I can't remember which blog it was, but I read something about the Thanksgiving WKRP epi being their favorite childhood Thanksgiving memory.

In any case - this is from today's CYNopsis:

Quote:

Cincinnati's low power TV station WBQC-TV has petitioned for new call letters -- fittingly, WKRP in Cincinnati. While there is no Les Nesman, a Johnny Fever or even a Venus Fly Trap, the station does exist and this time as a television station, not a radio station.

Useful? Probably not. But a certain level of cool? Yes!

I saw that too Anthony... I grew up watching that show!

Here's more info from a media blog I keep an eye on.

For shame, Anthony! Wink
It was our own Peter O'Connell's blog!
Thanks for that on the spot report, Les!

Thanks, Liz...
Sorry, Peter! I was looking for the post to credit in my Google Reader - but had no luck. I should make sure I didn't inadvertently unsubscribe from his feed - I'm new at this blog "thang."

WKRP was copied after WQXI AM in Atlanta. At his induction in the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame, Skinny Bobby Harper's daughter confirmed that Johnny Fever was copied after her father. Fun stuff!

It does bring to mind, just what is the glide ratio of the average falling turkey?

Brian.
