Just got one of these yesterday. It's pretty nifty so far... does anyone have one, and if so, any tips/tricks?
My primamry reasons for getting this phone were:
- so I could check email on the road
- have a QWERTY keyboard (and it has a very functional touchscreen too)
- use as an mp3 player
- have a GPS (b/c as some of you know, I'm directionally challenged) _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

Caryn--I considered this phone but got a MarionBerry instead. Curious if you pay an access fee on top of your plan. The Berry is $30. Regarding the Voyager, I liked the qwerty keyboard feature, tambien. _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

You're so funny!
ONLY $30... that's it? Granted, you have Windows right? I don't.
I have to pay for:
talk minutes: 450 @ $39.99/mo (I don't talk much)
internet access/gps navigation @$15/mo
mobile email access @$5/mo
insurance @$5/mo (in case I lose, break or drop the phone in the water, which happens around here... totally worth it. The hubs has had to purchase many a new phone due to lack of insurance coverage).
So, yes, more than what I paid previously, but oh so many more functions! My phone was $100. I'm lovin' it so far. _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!

$30 for access only, plus another $105 for family plan minutes, 1400 total. I was paying $154 a month for cell service for myself and DH, until I looked at the bill and realized I didn't need unlimited text and pics since I have email capability. I like the email access best. And, while I know there's the email-only phone at Target mentioned on this board, a rough math computation shows the access fee combined with a regular Verizon plan would come out to the same. They gots us either way. At least it's deductible.
Can you believe the newspaper doesn't reimburse DH, even in part, for cell phone? He's completely reliant on it when not at the desk. _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

I don't text either. Matter of fact, on my new phone, I created a "Quick Reply" that says "I don't text... please email or call me."
That's crazy about your hubs. Maybe he should drop the phone in the H2O and then maybe they'll see the need. ? _________________ Caryn Clark... The Hip Chick Voice!
