Hello everyone, I'm very excited to now be a part of this forum. I am in the process of setting up my home studio and look forward to meeting you all and sharing my grand adventures while stumbling through this process.

Oh my Caryn you are close, we are new to Florida as well. We're originally from Alaska, so I think the moon would have been a closer place to move. Maybe you could recommend a store in my area that carries decent audio recording equipment. Cheers!

Well, then, WELCOME to the Sunshine State!!! I actually visited Alaska once, very briefly, one July... and it was too cold for me. You're gonna be HOT this summer!!

I actually bought my gear via Sweetwater (Indiana) and very selectively through eBay. Pros and cons to both which can be found if you do a search in the Gear section.

I just moved to Tampa, FL about 4 months ago from North Carolina. Not quite the same shock as I'm sure your in...but it is different! So far I LOVE it! Welcome, both to FL and the VO-BB!
