Just got this in my inbox...
On 2/26/09 Location Sound will sell the 416 for $978.75. That is DEALER COST.
Shameless plug alert:
ERS is now Rode dealer. I've got an NT2-A, Podcaster, NTG-1 and NTG-3 mic in and a few of their sweet pro mic booms.
I am surprised how condenser like the Podcaster sounds in my preliminary tests, for a dynamic mic.
Stay tuned as I post reviews and tests of the mics and then sell them off at lower than advertised prices in an upcoming promo.
